The position to be assigned is responsible for coordinating the logistics tasks within the company. Particular attention is paid to the BOI regulations and their compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Select carriers and negotiate contracts and rates
  • Supervise Import, Export and BOI
  • Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
  • Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
  • Resolve any arising problems or complaints
  • Research ideal shipping techniques, routing, and carriers
  • Work with other departments to incorporate logistics with company procedures and operations
  • Maintain BOI privileges / duty refund are claimed, and maintain Customs House Export Entry formal
  • Complete customs clearance formalities and shipping documentation, such as B/L, C/OO and any form FTA required
  • Liaising with customers and freight forwarders/shipping line, custom broker
  • Max stock (Summarize total sales QTY and report to customer to re-confirm / Follow report or Export entry from customer and CS / Cut max stock on line and pick up approval document from Investor club / Review max stock continuously whether it's enough for import shipment or not)
  • Yearly report (Report status with BOI annually to renew our privilege)
  • Abnormal case concern to BOI (Request to pay duty for NG goods, scrap or dead stock, Report to BOI when change company address or warehouse)
  • Submit formula for new items. (Set category and HS code by communicate with supplier, customer and shipping / collect details of each item and submit to BOI to get approval and max stock)
  • Ensure all operations adhere to laws, guidelines, and ISO requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistic, Business  Administration, or related fields
  • At Least 5 years’ experience in Electronic Manufacturing
  • At least 5 years working experience in logistics operations and BOI. Experience in project opening will be advantaged
  • Good knowledge about Import-Export & BOI privilege, refund duty
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skill and possess strong initiative and problem solving skill and make decisions, as think laterally and offer creative solutions 
  • Knowledge of general freight forwarding terms and standards
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
  • Good command of written & spoken English and computer literacy
  • SAP R/3 background is an advantage
  • Fast learning and ability to work well as part of a team, as well as manage people and manage change
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving , organizational skills and negotiation skill
  • Good team player and work well with all levels of employees and can work under pressure
